We need to improve our tax code, so we are more competitive with the countries where our jobs are going. The American worker can compete with workers from any country in the world. They just need a level playing field. Hiking taxes on people, and creating regulation from thin air are why American jobs are leaving. "Providing protection" will only create another layer of governmental bureaucracy.

i agree, they need to protect the workers and make it impossible for them to loss there jobs and get fired and increase there wages. that’s will fix everything, look at the UAW and how great GM is doing.

If you tell a company they can’t outsource, they’ll just move their company in its entirety.

And you know what goes around comes around. I take it you don’t want any jobs in the US from companies who have decided to outsource their manufacturing here? You know, like car manufacturers like Toyota, Nissan, and BMW who build cars here, just as an example.

100 years ago 90% of Americans were self employed today that number is 10% I suggest they get busy and create a way to make a living just as our forefathers did.
